harryclarkinteriors were commissioned by a London couple to radically transform a Victorian townhouse into an open, modern and sophisticated living space. In collaboration with architects and structural engineers an entirely new layout was conceived. For that reason the two lower oors were completely gutted. In close coordination with the client’s new parameters were set by re guring the traditional ground plan. An elegant staircase became the central spine of the design. Their commission also included the development and coordination of all bespoke built in joinery and other furniture and furnishings.
harry clark designed built-in cupboards and wall units, dressers and desks. Centre pieces are a louvered anthrazite mirrored masterbathroom unit, a oor to ceiling LED lit room divider in the open plan living room and most of all a spectacular silver craquelé sideboard. The back garden of the house was turned into a beautiful stone laid town garden with generously rising steps. With its simple elegance and light it perfectly mirrors the modern design of the inside. With his great sense of style, harry clark managed to transform a traditional London townhouse into a masterpiece of sophisticated modern interior design.
