molecule Berliner Startup

Logo molecule Berlin

molecule is a Berlin start-up with the slogan:

"Empowering Science. Impacting Humanity."

As a technology platform for funding and tokenisation in the field of medical research, it bridges the gap between discovery and research (clinical trials) for researchers and funders with an incentivised, community-driven approach by sourcing ideas, capital and expertise in real time from around the world.

molecule is located in Alexandrinenstraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg, in the former parish building of the St Agnes church complex, which was built in the style of concrete brutalism.

"...In the 1960s, the then Berlin building senator Werner Düttmann built the now listed St Agnes church in the style of concrete brutalism. It was deconsecrated in 2004 and converted into a gallery a good ten years later by the architects Brandlhuber+ Emde, Burlon and Riegler Riewe Architekten through a targeted intervention...’

In cooperation with the architect Marin Weißer and interior designer Britta Weißer, the interior spaces were redesigned and utilised for modern, creative and multifunctional work.

The aesthetic spirit of the 1960s was taken into account, expressed in the furniture and selected accessories and transformed into the 2020s - for example through the desired plant concept with modern fibreglass containers. This transformation is also supported by the colour concept and not least by the art provided by Galerie König - courtesy
